Bought new in 2018 from the dealer. Clean title. Sought after floorplan with both bunks and tailgating/garage in the back and drop queen dinette in the front. Attractive and fun teardrop camper for a family of 4 or as a mobile office (as I did) without having to buy a tow vehicle. At 3000lbs dry and 20 with the tongue, its towable with most any 6 cylinder vehicle and fits into the smallest campsites even those sized for tents or pop ups. I added the 3 lift kit for more ground clearance and a manual pull out 2 step entry. Custom mud flaps keep your trailer looking good. I set it up great for dry camping (or mobile office work in your local parks) by adding a 120watt flexible solar panel on the roof that catches sun at any time of day (if you park it right) and a 30amp charge controller routed inside to track your power coming in and power storage in the two 65 and 75 AH 12v batteries on the tongue. Theres an oversized battery box that has a 300w inverter and master kill switch to run your TV and AC outlets for charging laptops and other devices. I also added a 12v power plug off the battery box to run a portable air compressor for your tires or pump up a paddle board. I added another propane tank to run your heat, fridge, hot water tank and stove to extend your boondocking. The slide out makes it very roomy to pass by someone cooking in the kitchen and use the bathroom or get in and out of the bunks. Ive added just about every Rpod space saving storage idea out there but still keeping the interior organized and matching the decor. The dinette cushions were upgraded to high density Lux foam with a Dacron wrap so theyre comfortable to sit and sleep on. Also included is a custom memory foam topper for the drop down dinette that either can be rolled up and stowed above on the rack shelf or folded into the top bunk when its closed up. My favorite area is the garage which stores lots of your outdoor gear and is a great workbench and place to hook up the gas quick connect to grill out of weather under the huge garage bay door. I added a Jack-It Rack on the tongue to add an additional 2 bike capacity if you decide you need to use the class 2 hitch on the back. This one has the Thule Crown manual crank awning instead of the cumbersome tent canopies. The fabric was replaced in 2021. I replaced the bungee cargo storage nets with a better quality after the originals sagged over the years. I found some old library file drawers at an antique shop which made nice spice and tea racks on the kitchen walls. I also installed a key organizer by the entry. Other accessories that may be included if desired are the tension rod shower caddy, removable teak shower floor platform to protect the floor from separating from the drain and not step in the floor funk after the beach, a shower mirror, an over kitchen sink mirror, a door organizer, a wall clock, a hanging fabric organizer and custom wire shelf over the dinette which is where each family member had a basket or their clothes. What will distinguish our used 2017 unit from all others (and possibly other years) is that we had the factory fix several major problems that theyve known about for years. The biggest being the poor corner trim sealing (or lack thereof) in the wheel wells that allowed water to seep into the floor. Since the driver side wall that extends out from the frame wasnt supported with L brackets the floor began to collapse. The factory installed a brand new floor as well as a brand new axle in January. While they put it back together, they added the L brackets, diamond steel plating in the wheel wells, new tank sensors, and other floor sealing that wasnt done properly. The unit has had annual Forever Warranty inspections which includes roof/window seals, brakes and appliances to keep the warranty active as long as the inspections occur every year and covers a lot of the expensive appliances and other features. It is transferable to a new owner as well. The fact that this has a brand new floor and rebuilt more carefully a 2nd time offers peace of mind to buyers who love this model. Other repairs/updates that were made were, removing the unsightly decals from the factory within the first month and replacing with business decals (which will remove before purchase if desired), replacing the electrical converter in 2020 (which many factory installed versions failed after a year or so), replaced the 4 manual stabilizers in 2020, replaced the brakes and regreased bearings in 2021, sanded/brushed any frame rust annually followed by AGS rust paint, and 2 weight distribution hitches with sway bar mounts on each. I preferred having the height of each hitch and sway bar chains preset for the 2 different tow vehicle heights I had. Both sets plus the sway bar are included as well. Custom cover for both trailer and wheels included. Our 3 kids would share the 2 bunks between them the last 4yrs, but its time to upgrade to a bigger unit. Will be sad to say goodbye to our Rpod and hope to find it a good home who will enjoy it for years to come.
