Beautiful unrestored 1978 Boston Whaler Striper Powered by a flawless 2006 50hp Evinrude Etec. Very low hours. Previous owner estimated less than 30 and Ive personally put roughly 20 on it. Freshwater only always trailered/garaged never docked in the water for more than a long weekend. Nice stainless rod holders and a very well installed set of mounts for your trolling motor. Original cooler and Whaler cushion – I did have to replace the original seats. Very good condition galvanized trailer with good rubber and bearings for a long haul if necessary.Newer front bow stop/winch and trailer jack. Working trailer lights. Very well cared for, this boats scoots and is a blast to drive. Agile and responsive this is a turn key boat that turns heads everywhere. Cash upon pickup with an immediate $500 deposit via PayPal to the lucky new owner. I want this boat to have a good home and I am willing to work with you if you are far from Indianapolis. Willing to drive up to 4 hours in any direction to meet. I am only selling it because I purchased a 1975 Sakonnet from a lifelong family friend who passed. It is museum quality! Have several videos – contact me if you are seriously interested. Thanks for looking, Mark Condition description (which for some reason did not get included) This boat is an unmolested original that has always been trailered and garaged. The motor looks and runs like new and is a perfect match for this hull in my opinion. It is a 45 year old boat and there are some chips and some crazing and small blistering in the gel coat – it is not perfect or museum quality but you have to get up close to notice the imperfections and there is not much. The splash well and main hull drain tubes have been replaced as a precaution versus need as the old ones were still intact.Original rub rail is in great condition. No wood rot. Side rail wood, anchor locker lid and dash panel were removed and a couple coats of marine varnish were applied last fall. Keel has some black rubber scuffs from the trailer roller but no damage of any kind – the Chines are nearly flawless from bow to stern. There are no condition surprises that I can identify.
