Own the most popular trailer sailers/Motor sailers of all time! 1998 Macgregor 26X with Honda 50hp! Not a cream puff or a dock queen, but a clean, fun, low hour boat. We used it a lot the last couple years while we built hours for our ASA courses. You CAN own a sailboat in South Dakota! You can trailer it anywhere. Just returned (late fall) from a trip across Lake Superior to Isle Royal and back! Every thing you need to set sail, It’s all yours. Take it and splash it! Includes mast raising attachment, GPS, 2 gas tanks, etc. New tires, trailer aligned, and wheel bearings re-packed before winter storage. Brand new set of Ruddercraft rudders just installed (not shown, installed after pictures were taken). Fixes stock Mac rudder issues. Pictures taken right before the boat was put into heated storage for the winter. There are a couple of small tears in the upholstery and one of the floor rugs is fraying. Sails are older but serviceable. Note that the lifeline stanchions are cut and spliced so they can be put down and the boat fits in a 8′ garage door! No wind? No problem. Motor runs perfect and sips fuel. Runs 10-12 hours cruising 4-5 knots on a single 6 gal tank. Roomy inside and perfect for camping out for days at a time. Swing up centerboard and rudders with drainable (while underway) water ballast gives you less than 12 inches of draft which opens up a whole new world of exploring shallow water and beaching.
