Brand New Cortes Campers 17 foot travel trailer DEMO MODEL was only used to take to shows and was never slept in or used. This is a great opportunity for someone to get a $59,500 camper at a HUGE discount! If you’re in the market for a Casita, Scamp or Oliver then you should take a look at this brand new but slightly used Cortes! Unlike all of the other 3 camper companies, Cortes uses absolutely Zero wood in the entire camper except for the kitchen cutting board! The entire inside including the floor is made from Marine Gelcoat and fiberglass. This camper is the only one on the market that has a boat drain plug in the back:) You can literally go inside, remove the cushions and then pressure wash the entire floor out and then just lift the front of the camper and let the water drain out. All fasteners are stainless steel and as you can see in the photos, even the drawers are made out of very expensive marine grade plastic (King Starboard). This camper is fully loaded as you would expect for a DEMO model that was intended to take to shows and was not titled, therefore you will be the original owner. The only option missing is an awning that could easily be installed for a small up-charge. The windows are dual-paned acrylic which is great for extreme temperature environments. This camper is a dual hulled camper just like an Oliver but with a much newer design. Unlike Casita and Scamp, Oliver and Cortes have NO carpet on the walls to go bad or stink up. This camper also has the optional Timbren axle-less suspension for much greater ground clearance without raising the height of the camper. This not only gives you more off-road capability but also keeps the wind resistance down for better full economy and handling, unlike the Oliver that uses leaf spring suspension. The frame is also High Strength Low Alloy steel (HSLA) but also E coated AND Powder Coated for the ultimate in corrosion resistance.
