I present a hand built 16 vintage style roadster designed and built by Simon Fletcher of Fletcher Boats, Inc, in Port Angeles, WA. For years, Simon has turned out precisely two handmade mahogany runabouts each year. His boats are made entirely of solid African multi-ply on Honduras mahogany frames, on white oak chines and keel, making the boat considerably overbuilt by todays standards. Each boat is then hand sanded (power tools leave marks!) and 12 coats of painstakingly applied varnish go into each of his creations. In this case, this 16 Roadster was hand designed from scratch by the customer, and represents a one-off for Fletcher Boats! You will simply not see another 16 Fletcher Roadster like this there isnt another one to be found! And it could be yours this weekend! Getting down to specifics, the one-off 16 Fletcher inboard Roadster features the following: Model Year: 2001 Purchase Date: 06-11-2011 Length Overall: 16, 0 Beam: 6, 0 HIN: YRD22247D101 Single cockpit, aft of engine Powered by a 4 cyl 135hp Volvo Penta gas engine Closed Orca marine cooling system Optional speedometer Custom built EZ Loader galvanized trailer Custom trailer/boat cover While there is no hour meter on the boat, after delivery by Simon Fletcher, it was transported up to an Ontario Canada freshwater lake and used a few times. It was then put into storage in Canada and never used again, until it was transported to the Rochester NY Finger Lakes vicinity. While designed with a closed cooling system, this boat has never seen salt water. The boat has remained in storage inside a heated vehicle building from that point to present. The vehicle is and its matching EZ Loader trailer is currently NY registered and/or titled accordingly for an immediate transfer.
