This classic American power yacht built by John Trumpy in Annapolis, MD, one of the roughly 70 existing Trumpy boats today, out of about 400 that were built. Powered by twin Detroit diesels, 175 h/p each, this is a very economical solution to cruising at 10 knots per hour with about 40 liters per hour consumption. The boat features 69 feet length on the deck and 16 feet beam. Three state rooms with double beds, all with ensuite bathrooms with showers, also a crew and a captain quarters with separate bathroom in the bow. The boat has been sitting in the marina for 3 years and is a project that needs a lot repairs but has a ton of potential if you have time and money to restore it to the former glory. A completely restored Trumpy 72 sold recently for $1.5 mln( Google “Trumpy Dovetail”) Engines are running strong and smooth with 2800 hour on each which is barely a breaking point for these industrial strength Detroit Diesels.
