Cuts down the noise factor substantially, keeps heat or cold out when you want it, cuts road noise out wonderful. -All Plumbing and Wiring internal. Clean lines, visually pleasing, feels like home. All plumbing is tastefully done and accessible, yet out of site. Indoor plumbing helps keep that water moving in the winter. Electrical runs are professionally out of site, with control panels and wiring boxes accessible if you need access. All electrical is clean and organized to the hilt. -Flooring is made up of commercial-grade luxury sheet vinyl adhered to a 3/4″ thick composite sub-floor, isolated with a conduction inhibiting polymer adhesive to prevent direct contact with the van body and reduce noise transmission. ELECTRICAL Perfection in design and install -Equipped with two high efficiency 180W monocrystalline rigid solar panels. The solar panels are mounted to low-profile roof rails in a discrete configuration to maintain low wind drag and a stealthy aesthetic, and utilize a wind fairing to help further support good drafting. The solar integration has been designed to utilize only pre-existing factory roof penetrations so no additional holes or modification is necessary for this solar installation. Low profile means high stealth factor, a good thing for camping needs but also for crime discouragement. And by the way, these low profile extruded aluminum roof rails are mounted to the Ford factory mounting locations for securing solar panels, security cameras and other gear on the roof. The factory mounting locations can support up to 400 lbs. The 97″ long rails accommodate the two 180W solar panels with some room to spare. Installation did not require any additional holes or modification to van. -To power all of the electrical components, this motorhome is equipped with a 300 amp hour Renogy Smart Technology Lithium Ion Phospate battery bank capable of powering the refrigerator, interior lights, roof vent, laptops, TV, double burner stove, water pump and gas powered heater or AC unit simultaneously. All electrical circuits use marine grade, double insulated, oxygen-free, copper conductors with individual fuse protection. -The electrical system utilizes the latest multi-stage, multi-input, MPPT Battery Charger from Renogy. This Smart Charger is capable of charging the house battery bank from the alternator while driving or by utilizing solar panels connected directly to the unit. All charging is done utilizing a chemistry specific, temperature compensated, 3-phase charging profile to promote battery health and prolong battery life. The system intelligently prioritizes the two DC power sources (Alternator or Solar) to maximize performance and will even trickle charge the van’s starting battery from solar once the house battery is fully charged. Ties into Shore Power as well, charging house batteries at an optimized rate.-When you plug the van into 30 amp Shore Power, the automatic transfer switch will automatically detect the presence and availability of shore power and automatically switch the electrical feed for the galley outlets from the 3000W Renogy Puresine Inverter and Charger to direct shore power. When operating on shore power, the galley outlets can be used to power large appliances like microwaves, induction cook-tops, hair dryers, coffee pots, etc. Additionally, if there is a power outage at your shore connection, the switch will automatically transfer back to battery/inverter feed until power is restored. Shore power can be used at campgrounds, at home, or with generators. -Tail Gator 900W 2 cycle gas powered Generator – This 4.5 star portable 2 cycle gas engine generator is ideal for outdoor camping, tailgating, hunting, etc.. Easy to pack along, this handy portable generator delivers power in a pinch. Fits with ease into the Aluminess Box, leaving room for a compact BBQ, firewood, propane and other items. -Four USB charging ports, 5 (yes, five) 120 power outlets and three 12V power sockets serve your charging and device powering needs. Power for many of these ports comes pre-wired to the auxiliary house battery so you don’t have to worry about draining your vehicle starting battery and becoming stranded. LIGHTING Tasteful, Practical -The Interior is Beautifully Lit with warm-white, recessed, overhead LEDs. The LEDs consume very little power and are fully dimmable via a wall mounted capacitive touch dimmer switch. The 10 foot van length cabinet is underlit with an LED lightbar for soft lighting where its needed by the bed and over counter space. For relaxing mood lighting, the ceiling soffit is outfitted with a color changing LED ribbon that lights the space indirectly for a soft, gentle lighting ambiance that will set the scene for any occasion. Red is a popular color for use at night when you may want to preserve your night vision. -Overhead Reading Lights for 2 adjustable wand magnetic reading lights on both sides of the Queen bed. WATER SYSTEMS Functional, Simple, Easily Winterized-Equipped with a 5 gal fresh water tank and a 5 gallon grey water tank. Both tanks are located inside the van to resist freezing during 4-season camping. Both water tanks are equipped with quick-release water fitting and cobra latches on the retaining straps to allow you to quickly and conveniently remove either tank for filling or dumping. The tanks are made of an industrial grade transparent polyethylene with visual volume indications to allow the water level to be read easily and accurately. -Fresh water is supplied using a 12v, pressure regulated, RV water pump. The pump automatically runs on demand when the faucet is opened, and shuts off when the faucet is closed. Operates just like the one in a real house. -The sink set is a stunning brushed nickle kitchen faucet fixture and deep T304 stainless steel sink. The pull down faucet head has two spray modes that allows you to go from aerated stream to rinsing spray at the push of a button. The sink basin features an integrated drain strainer to keep large food particles out of your grey water tanks, and a drain stopper to fill the sink for doing dishes. Great for times when putting the magnetic window covers up isnt preferred, like a quick garment change. An insulated curtain can also make the space more comfortable in the winter by isolating the cab (which is the largest area of heat loss due to the large glass windshield and windows) from the rest of the living space. -The functional interior layout features a FMVSS certified seat swivel base with offset swivel center, to allow the user to fully rotate the seat 180° without interference from the B pillar or passenger door. Reliability says everything. -This build comes with a top-of-the-line, 65 Liter Isotherm Webasto Marine refrigerator / freezer. Isotherm is known as one of the very best brands available and is purpose built to withstand harsh travel and environmental conditions. The refrigerator uses a high efficiency, hyper-quiet, 12V Danfoss compressor that is specifically designed to run directly from a battery without the need for propane or 120V shore power. Goals with this RV (yes, it’s registered as a motorhome): not a squeak or rattle when rolling down the road, to not look like a 250,000 vehicle, in spite of being close to it, to be able to fit in any parking spot, to be luxurious, to be secure and protective, to be ice/snow/dirt/mud/rock ready, to be highly functional, to last a lifetime of memories (yep, Ford). Non-goals with this RV: to have big loud flashy things that say break into me, to be a rattly junk show, to be unfriendly for parking, to not be bombproof reliable and to be exorbitantly expensive to fix (yep, not Mercedes), to care what absolutely anyone else on the road thinks about it other than the driver and co-pilot inside that are living the dream life. You can add an awning but these do characteristically blow off in the wind and frequently damage vehicles. You can also add front 4wheeling LED lights for cheap, and put a ladder on the outside but people are starting to climb these to break in and mess with owners at night. Both the shower and toilet are portable – no black water/poop dumping, massively efficient in the non-extended model. I have tried to put enormous thought into functionality and safety on the road – feel free to ask me any questions you have about my strategy with any aspects of the build. I’m an open book and it’s yours to modify further if you wish (if you purchase). This van is one of the cleanest, quietest, classiest, most pro builds you will find – a good friend is a professional established van builder and assisted with the build.
