The 9.9 Evinrude is both an electric-start and pull-start engine, and has had ONE OWNER, an electrical engineer, whose home and extensive ham radio hobby garage is immaculate in order and cleanliness, the ideal person to buy anything from. He kept the engine on it’s stand in the heated garage since 1975. He said the last time he used it was in 2000. He estimated it has 200 hours on it. I purchased the Evinrude from him 2 months ago, had a seal replaced, the oil changed, and then changed my mind without putting the boat or engine in the water. After bad camping weather for 2 months, the wife and I prefer a travel trailer to a tent. We only wanted the boat to get us to campsites but tenting turned out to be too exposed to get any work done. The place that serviced the engine for me sent me a video of it starting and running. He used the electric start, the video he sent is included here. He said he thought the 200 hours was about right. The owner gave me all the original paper materials like the owner’s manual. The engine’s stand and lifejackets are in perfect condition. The boat and trailer came from a different seller. It’s a fiberglass bass boat from the Ozarks with a snub nose and flattish bottom. He just put in a new floor and painted the trailer. The trailer is made for a much heavier boat and could also handle more length and width than this little Jon boat. He said it was a 6-person boat. I don’t have any other info on the boat and trailer. We have a WA registration for the boat and a bill of sale for the trailer. Neither Oregon nor Washington require licensing for the trailer so a bill of sale is apparently the norm for proof of ownership in these parts. The 15-inch tires are like new with good sidewalls showing no age. The trailer lights all work. I towed the boat 1200 miles, smooth as silk. There’s a live well built in. If I weren’t selling it I’d spray on a nice shiny white epoxy because the outside fiberglass finish is a bit scuffed and faded. The location is Lake Oswego, Oregon. You can pick it up or make arrangements for delivery. Your vehicle needs a 2-inch ball for towing.
