17 Boston Whaler Hull (1979) coupled with a 1992 Yamaha 70 HP Big Arm Tiller and Galvanized EZ Load trailer with keel rollers. Boat was built and designed to combine maximized open deck space with Boston Whaler hull performance. External Deck Box:: Battery, Battery Switch, Fuse Block, UBS Charging Port and Mounting for Hummingbird Helix 5. Deck Box has storage dry space for life jackets / safety gear / fishing tackle / clothing Fuel Tank: 14 Gallon Aluminum with Fuel Gauge EZ Load Trailer: 2 Speed Winch, Stoltz Keel Rollers, LED Lights, Replacement Coupler and Jack 1992 Yamaha 70 HP / 2-Stroke/ Trim & Tilt / Internal Oil Tank / Big Arm Tiller / Electric Start Canvas Storage Cover (2021) and Custom PVC Support Frame and Red Mills Bimini Top. Operations This is the 3rd Boston Whaler Tiller conversion project I’ve completed (2-17 and 1-15). I always loved the BW 17 hull design and performance but grew tired of the limited deck space. Operating this vessel from the standing or seated position, it’s a quick shot from out of the hole to open running.. GPS records top speeds when trimmed out past 40 MPH. Tiller Handle has Gear / Throttle and Trim / Tilt controls .Bilge: Rule 800 GPH manual Bilge Pump (Push / Pull switch on rear of Deck Box) 9 Rod Holders 4- stainless / 5 PVC I’ve operated and fished from this boat since early spring 2021. Very reliable power, effortless to start. Carbs were rebuilt (complete rebuild, OEM parts. Pedericks Yamaha, Salem, NJ 2021) Water pump / thermostat / fuel pump / plugs /lower unit gear oil / battery and battery cable replaced Spring 2021 Boat skips on and across choppy water while providing a very smooth ride close to the stern. At rest or drift, extremely stable open platform. I’ve had the vessel on and off the trailer +/- 20 times. Roller setup was designed to put in or pull out without getting your feet or trailer bearings wet. Very cooperative at the ramp. Delaware Boat Title/ Delaware Trailer TitleĀ Both in my name.
