Get ready for adventure with this classic fiberglass Scamp! It is in excellent condition inside and out. Hitch it to your vehicle and you are ready to camp. It was gently used and lovingly cared for by only three owners. Every part of this Scamp was inspected, cleaned, and repaired if necessary. Interior notes: This trailer has been non-smoking for its lifetime. No damage to interior fiberglass or cabinets. Newish wood laminate floor. Brand new wood floor in bathroom. We made custom modifications to make the interior more usable for two people. The bunk beds at the tongue end of the camper were removed and a counter top and cubbies for clothes was added. We utilized plastic bins to decrease weight at the tongue end of the trailer. To the left of the clothes cubbies, you can see two larger cubbies. We used these as doggie bunk beds as you can see in the photo but these could be used for storing any larger items such as bedding, sleeping bags etc. (Note we did not keep any of the bunk bed hardware so that will not be included.) At the opposite end of the camper, the collapsible dining table was placed in the bed position and a large pull-out drawer was added underneath. The original foam cushions are in the bed position and we added an additional 3 inch memory foam mattress and cut to fit. Bed dimensions: 77 inches by 47 inches. The door to the closet was replaced with a full-length custom wood door with wooden door handle (original door was a 3/4 length door and was inconvenient to use).All interior lights work perfectly. Exterior notes: Fiberglass exterior in excellent shape and just waxed and polished. No leaks. There are dual propane tanks. The pull out steps to the door were removed. We found that the steps decreased clearance which was a downside for pulling the camper along rocky roads in Colorado. The rest of the exterior is in original condition. We added a brace to the top of the air conditioner as the plastic was starting to crack in places from the high desert sun exposure. The tongue jack is a newish low profile jack with a detachable foot. The two pull out mounted stability jacks are in place in the rear bumper and working perfectly. The battery was replaced in 2013. It still works fine. The original folding screen door was removed as we found it inconvenient. A removable walk-though magnetic screen door is included. New tires in 2019. Spare tire has never been used. Appliances: Brand new water heater. Furnace, Coleman A/C, and two burner stove top working perfectly. Note the Fridge in electric mode works perfectly. It also works on propane but has to be lit manually from the outside. The fridge ignitor does not work and the RV repair person was not able to find a replacement ignitor. All lights work perfectly. 12 volt water pump works perfectly. Flush toilet works perfectly with brand new valve, wax ring. No plumbing leaks. There is one 12 volt outlet inside. We placed a cigarette lighter dual USB adapter in this outlet for charging phones etc. There are two vents on the roof. One has a thermostatic fan that works well with multiple speeds. This works on battery or shore power.
