1988 MasterCraft TriStar 190 – Ski / Wakeboard BoatSki/Wakeboard Boat – 5.8L V8 – Ford 351ci Windsor. Two-owner boat. My parents purchased in 1992 with approximately 250 hours. It was a private sale however the owner was a Ski Centurion dealer who purchased the MasterCraft new for his personal boat. His dealership was at his house on a ski lake and I am not sure if it was sold in the name of his dealership or not. I have been the primary user since about 1996. Boat has been maintained by my father or me in a well-equipped garage with proper tools. Brake drums have been turned every few years. Boat has always been stored indoors, with the exception of vacations. I have not used it it much the past two years and decided to sell it. Boat will surf and wakeboard. It was de-winterized on March 13, 2021 and I have added a You Tube link of a cold start and a video of the surf wake. Please request any specific pictures or information that I may have left out. Boat is available for a test run, or an engine start in the driveway with a hose if desired. Buyer will need to arrange shipping or pickup. Boat weight is approximately 2,600 lbs and approximately 3,500 lbs with the trailer. Brakes work well and it a very stable tow-rig. Boat is in excellent shape for its age however it does have wear and blemishes indicative of a 33 year old boat that has pulled skiers and boarders its whole life. I have done my best to outline every flaw below, however please request any specific pictures or request any additional information. *Please note that this boat was up for an eBay auction that ended March 21, 2021 however the buyer backed out the following day. I am pricing the boat based on the bidding history of that action however I am using a Buy It Now / Best Offer format. I have also revised the (12) photos based on feedback of original listing. Youtube link of a surf wake and a youtube link of a cold start which was performed March 13th, 2021. https://youtu.be/U45H6xOpm – Surf Wake https://youtu.be/UcK-BBHfXKU – Cold Start FLAWS â¢Rear seat bottom is ripped and becomes easily waterlogged. I had it covered with a shower curtain liner for the past two seasons, however I have removed it for the purpose of the listing. â¢Front observer seat bottom is not as bad as the rear however I used a waterproof cover on it as well. â¢Interior is 100% original and is overdue for replacement. It is usable but the rear seat bottom in particular but will need to be protected with a cover. The observer seat bottom is the second worse and benefits greatly from a waterproof cover as well. This is for the purpose of getting an additional season or two out of it. â¢There is no fitted cover. Currently has a generic $80 universal cover that needs to be replaced. â¢Missing right rear arm rest. Fasteners corroded and arm rest blew off while being trailered. This is indicative of the age of the rest of the interior. â¢Cosmetic dock damage on right side, adjacent to driver, pictured in layout photo. â¢Front factory speakers are in place but are not connected. â¢Rear 6âX9â Infinity Kappa speakers do not have grills. â¢Trailer brake line for right rear brake is not routed in the original location. It had to be replaced while on vacation and I had to use a cheap manual tubing bender in an emergency. Trailer brake line is pictured on the layout image. â¢Trailer has moderate corrosion around carpeted areas, as can bee seen in photos. It is still solid but this should be addressed or evaluated by a trailer shop at some point. (The treated wood on the trailer beams still appear to be in good shape.) â¢There is paint missing from some interior trim pieces from normal wear. â¢There are cosmetic scratches and wear indicitative of a boat of this age. Most can be seen in layout image with blue circles. â¢Paint is missing from the center pylon from use and from. The use of a Skylon (included with the boat if desired by the buyer. â¢Front spare tire platform on trailer is needs to be replaced soon. â¢Steps on trailer have had the original carpeted plywood removed and replaced with a rubberized traction surface.
