It does show signs of useâbecause its been used. One window shade doesnât retract, this should be a quick fix by any RV place. The forward (sink) gray water tank drips, and one hose bib cap is missing. The fold down DVD player is new, but doesn’t perform well some days playing DVD’s.This van is still one of the most capable machines in itâs categoryâspend another $1500 on front posi-traction and you can make it the most capable. It doesnât have a pop top, so no wind restrictions, and you can spend the night in Jackson hole in the winter. The water system is also enclosed in the heated section so camp all 4 seasons without fear of frozen water lines. The furnace works great and you could easily spend a week of camping on the Canadian highway in the winter before a fill up. Approach angles are excellent as is the ground clearance, and it fits in a standard parking space. All the 4×4 work was done by advanced 4wheel drive, and the RV upgrades completed by Clays RV in Salt Lake City. These vans do not finance under normal RV loans, so please work out your financing before you come see the van. With two kids, 2 businesses, and a move my time is stretched like a 3 year old growing a wormâreal thin. Please be kind with my time and I will respect yours. An important note about the age of the van. Although the van was built somewhere in 2010, all the major aspects except the engine have been replaced recently. It should last you a good long time, with few major expenses. These V10’s, although they don’t have the torque of the diesel, are extremely reliable, and last a long time. They are also significantly cheaper to replace or repair. No need to worry about bullet proofing, or any of the other issues associated with the ford diesel. You can expect mileage to be between about 7-10 mpg, and the diesel will only get slightly better. Always starts when its cold, never in need of a block heater. This sleeps 4, but not 4 large adults. The upper bunk is great for kids, but not large or heavy people. Also if you are over about 5’11’ you can expect to turn your head to the side a bit to pass the A/C unit when you are standing in the camper side. This is a van, not a class A, you sacrifice space inside for maneuverability, capability, and being able to park it in a normal parking spot. It’s about 11′ tall, so don’t expect to put it in your normal garage. Financing can be difficult for these vehicles so please figure it out before hand. This van is only slightly less awesome than a new one, lacking only lithium ion batteries.Pre purchase inspection completed by Kerns Auto Center in Salt Lake City Utah–please give them a call to have an independent opinion. https://www.kearnsautocenter.com/
