Teardrop Trailer for Sale. This beauty was hand built in 2007 using plans from a 1947 “Mechanixs Illustrated” magazine. It’s made with aluminum skin over plywood. Weight 1300 pounds, 13′ long. It has a chuckwagon kitchen area in the back under a hinged lid. It has two locking doors, one on each side of the bed, each with a screened hand-crank window. The interior is crafted from Colorado beetle-killed pine. It has a 76″ x 46″ bed that sleeps two snugly on a comfy 4″ foam mattress. It has a double-door storage cabinet at the head of the bed and five storage drawers with safety catches over the foot. It has a 12-volt electrical system with a powerful and quiet ceiling fan with vent, interior lights, outside running lights, 12-volt sockets inside and in the kitchen area, and a 4-prong flat plug connector. It has a 2″ ball hitch and trailer lock, 15″ wheels, new tires and spare tire (2019), and a new deep-cycle battery (2019). This teardrop has always been garaged and well maintained. No leaks, rust, or water damage, ever. I bought it in 2010. Now it’s time to pass it on to a good home.
